“Rail Road Bridge” contemporary figurative painting

I spend much time thinking about how to layer colors so that I can paint expressively and “minimally” and have the painting work in terms of color harmony, focus, light-versus-dark, etc.  This painting was one version of about ten or twelve versions I could have painted of the same composition.  I could paint 24-7 and still feel like I’m not getting enough time in the studio.
