“Egyptian Magician” contemporary figurative painting

This was another experiment with glazes made with gloss media over a textured canvas.  I think it was a successful learning exercise but not a successful painting.   I prefer to paint over my paintings in a month or two instead of trying to correct them now because I learn more as I go along.
