“Deer in the Vineyard” contemporary figurative painting

This painting was stopped “early” because I liked what I saw.  I thought it would be a small tragedy to spend more time on it only to have it be less magic.  Still, I want to explore where it was going, so I will probably paint another version, possibly the same size, image, etc, and merely take it further.
