“Birth of the Painter” contemporary figurative painting

My different businesses are growing rapidly, so I am still only able to paint at night, working in intense continuous bursts.  I feel forced by time to complete the paintings in a single night, so I have to make decisions quickly and work by instinct.  I think this has taught me quite a bit, but soon I hope to be able to paint more reflectively and refine things over time.  In the coming weeks I will begin painting spring landscapes.
