“Time Machine” assemblage sculpture

This time machine has no years setting, only an hours and minutes setting, but that’s ok.  It wasn’t made to see the dinosaurs or the signing of the Declaration of Independence or anything like that. It was made so that I can always set the clock back a few hours when I need to put my paints away and go to bed.

I’m going to start photographing all the things I made over the years before I officially declared myself to be an artist.  This isn’t one of them.  It’s actually recent, but it has the look and feel of my previous creations.  Now that I’m starting to get a handle on my painting, I am allowing myself to revisit previous mediums like fabric, clothing and wood and metal sculptures. I have lots of old things that I need to take pictures of.
