I constantly have voices from Mississippi in my head:

“He said he left his boots on the steps of his mobile home and a possum came up from the creek and ate them, if you believe that.  A dog maybe. But not a possum. But that’s your Uncle John Bob for you. He’s the same one that told me that a Mexican’ll eat a prickly pear cactus. You can’t listen to nothin he says.”
